Iced Chestnut Plant-Based Hair Colour

Price range: 10,90 € through 19,90 €

A chestnut with cooler tones, less warm than a hazelnut shade. Indigo leads the way, supported by henna and catechu, with cassia, amla, sidr and neem alongside.

Careful, it darkens light bases: decide after a strand test. 100 g or 200 g sachet · Seven plants · Does not lighten.

Iced Chestnut: chestnut, the cool version

In the chestnut family, this one plays the cool card. It gives the depth of a chestnut, with a less warm direction than a hazelnut shade.

“Iced” describes a tendency, not a promise: it does not remove every warm tone and does not give an identical ash result on every head. Your natural colour, past colouring and white hair all affect the result. The strand test remains your best guide.

What is in the sachet

  • Indigo: the first ingredient, it brings coolness and depth.
  • Henna and catechu: they fix the colour and make it denser.
  • Cassia: it softens the overall result.
  • Amla, sidr and neem: three care plants.

As the blend contains henna, it is neither a neutral powder nor a red corrector. If your current colour is already very warm, test several areas before applying it to all your hair.

What to expect depending on your base

Your current colour What to watch
Natural chestnut The tone you get, to compare with your colour in daylight
Blonde, light base The powder darkens: check the depth before a full application
White or grey hair They may look different: include them in the test
Bleached or porous hair Test roots and lengths separately; take care with indigo on a very light base
Dark brown The powder does not lighten your base

Iced, caramel hazelnut or iced dark blonde?

The difference is in the ingredients: in Caramel Hazelnut, henna comes before indigo; here it is the other way round, hence cooler tones. For a cool blonde version, see Iced Dark Blonde, which is richer in cassia. All shades are in our plant-based hair colour range.

Preparing your colour

  1. Read the instructions and do the recommended tolerance test: the strand test checks the colour, not your tolerance.
  2. Test the colour on a strand that includes roots, white hair and lengths, if these areas differ.
  3. Mix the powder with water following the instructions (temperature, texture, processing time).
  4. Rinse thoroughly with clear water.

Choose 100 g or 200 g depending on the length and thickness of your hair.
